I approach therapy as a co-created space that nurtures curiosity, making room to examine who you are, what shaped you, and how you can live authentically. We are subject to many different systems that define who we can be, making it difficult to name and value lived experiences that exist beyond those confining narratives. As a queer trans POC I am familiar with navigating this dissonance and I integrate this exploration into my work with clients.
As a therapist I support clients in their process of assessing who they are and what holds them back from being who they want to be. I do this by striving for a relationship that fosters collaboration, openness, trust, and safety. My practice is psychodynamic, centering on trauma-informed and anti-oppressive practices. I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, gender, and sexuality issues.
