Taryn Crosby, LCSW
Because so many of our struggles can stem from our relationships – relationships with others, societal systems and ourselves – my therapeutic practice is oriented in the belief therapeutic healing is rooted in creating a deep, connected relationship between us. I approach therapy as a practice of exploration, holding and reparation.
Together we will explore your experiences of anxiety, depression, trauma response, anger, creative blocks, developing boundaries and making lasting change in your life. We will strive for authenticity, question realness and probably laugh as well.
I’m excited to work with individuals and couples who feel aligned and seen by this approach. I have many experiences and deep commitment to working with people of color, queer folks, people in diverse relationship structures and those in the performance arts.
I am a psychodynamically-oriented therapist and continued my studies at the Stephen Mitchell Center for Relational studies and The Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis. I also offer consultation and supervision for other therapists.
