If you’ve ever felt like you’re living a story you didn’t write, or navigating a world that doesn’t make space for your truth, know that you are not alone; I see you. I know what it feels like to live outside social boundaries, in the uncharted territory beyond rigid expectations. But there is power that comes from telling your own truth. As we collaborate, I am committed to amplifying your voice and honoring the unique wisdom of your lived experience as you reclaim your narrative and your joy.
As a queer, genderfluid, 2nd generation Korean and 4th generation Japanese American, and a multi-dimensional survivor, I have found that the key to liberation is unlocked at the intersection of our identities. That which makes us unique is that which makes us whole. While there are systems in place that can make us feel perpetually ‘not enough,’ I will reflect back the resilience and creativity in your survival, helping you cultivate self-compassion.
My approach is informed by foundations in disability studies, queer feminist theory, and liberation psychology. Our work together will be guided by principles of cultural and gender affirmation, sex positivity, class consciousness, and an anti-carceral framework. I draw inspiration from modalities like narrative therapy, DBT and IFS to create a collaborative space tailored to your unique journey.
If you are struggling with isolation, loss, shame or feeling overwhelmed by the chaos, I invite you to connect with me. Together, we can tap into the transformative potential within each and every one of us to repair, restore and grow.
