My commitment to advancing equity and social justice in mental health drives my passion for creating a culture of belonging. As a Queer, polyamorous Black man from Texas, my identity deeply informs my approach to therapy. I understand the unique challenges and intersections that come with navigating multiple marginalized identities, and I believe in the power of a nurturing and supportive atmosphere to foster healing and self-discovery.
With over a decade of experience in fostering inclusive environments and empowering individuals through education and mental health services, I bring a unique blend of expertise to our sessions. I would be thrilled to join you on a transformative journey of self-discovery and healing. With a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development, a Master of Arts in Adult Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, my academic background equips me to support you through various challenges. I’ve also completed specialized training in addiction, trauma, PTSD, grief, loss, and sex therapy, ensuring that my approach is comprehensive and tailored to your unique needs.
I draw from the principles of acceptance and commitment therapy, focusing on freeing people from habitual thoughts and emotions that limit their consciousness. Together, we’ll explore the depths of your inner world, gently challenging the barriers that prevent you from living fully and authentically.
Imagine our sessions as a sanctuary where you can safely explore your thoughts and feelings. We’ll work together to untether your soul, allowing you to experience profound personal growth and resilience. You’ll learn the importance of self-care and how to cultivate a life that reflects your true self, free from the constraints of past traumas and societal expectations. Embark on this journey with me, and let’s work together to allow you to live a life of freedom, authenticity, and deep fulfillment.
