As an Asian American immigrant, I understand the importance of community and how the unique intersections of our identities affect the ways we move through the world. I aim to emphasize the values of your lived experiences, working together to foster a life that feels authentic, balanced, and fulfilling. I strive to cultivate a warm, affirming space for exploring the fullness of your human experience and look to support you through the joys and challenges of life.
I have worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship difficulties, and identity exploration. My approach is integrative, pulling from psychodynamic, person-centered, and strengths-based approaches while being grounded in trauma-informed, social justice practices. I also incorporate mindfulness, CBT, and DBT to meet the needs of each individual.
I am currently working toward my M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at NYU. In the past, I’ve expressed my passion for mental health by engaging in volunteer work, activism, and research. I am dedicated to giving back to my communities and supporting individuals in their journeys toward healing, empowerment, and discovery.
